1. Who We Are

BeautySpace is an urban walk-in beauty studio with multiple locations in Switzerland.

• •Locations: Zürich, Winterthur, Zug, Basel, Baden
• •Focus: Nails, Lashes, Brows
• •Concept: Walk-in – no appointment needed
• •Customer traffic: High, especially in summer months
• •Team: Young, international, performance-oriented

We work fast, structured and with clear quality standards.

2. Duration

• •Period: April to end of August
• •Minimum duration: 3 months
• •Option: Extension possible
• •Outlook: Possibility of permanent employment after season

3. Scope of Work

• •Manicure: Shellac, nail polish, extensions if applicable
• •Pedicure
• •Brows & Lashes: Brow lift, lash lift
• •Walk-in operations: Working in studio with high customer traffic
• •Client care: New and regular clients
• •Optional: Product sales (commission possible)

You work independently on a shift system.

4. Professional Requirements

• •Training: Completed training in cosmetics or nail design
• •Experience: At least 1–2 years of professional experience
• •Work style: Independent, reliable working
• •Speed: High pace under high workload
• •Language: Basic knowledge of German or English
• •Portfolio: Photos of your work

Not an entry-level position.

5. Salary & Working Conditions

• •Monthly gross salary: CHF 3,800 – 4,500 (depending on experience)
• •Net salary avg.: approx. CHF 3,200 – 3,700
• •Tips: Additionally possible
• •Working hours: 42–45 hours per week
• •Holidays: 5 weeks per year (pro-rated for seasonal contract)
• •Social contributions: Deducted automatically

Swiss social contributions explained: AHV (pension), unemployment insurance and accident insurance are deducted from gross salary. Health insurance is mandatory and must be arranged separately.

6. Accommodation

• •Option 1: Arranged independently
• •Option 2: Support finding a shared flat
• •Shared flat: CHF 700–1,000 per month
• •Distance: 15–30 minutes by public transport
• •Deposit: 1 month's rent

Zürich is expensive. We say this openly.

7. Work Permit

• •Preferred: EU/EFTA nationals
• •Permit: Short-stay permit L possible
• •Support: Help with registration
• •Health insurance: Mandatory health insurance in CH
• •Documents: Passport, employment contract, home address
